北京军区总医院从2000年6月起,在科室主任、副主任、护士长的选拔中连续实行竞争上岗制度,截止目前,已有10名科主任、14名科室副主任、7名护士长通过竞争走上了领导岗位。大大加快了医院学科带头人的新老更替和年轻化的步伐,科室主任、副主任的平均年龄分别从55.3岁和47.5岁,下降到51.6岁和44.8岁,高学历人才比例由33%上升为58%。有效地净化了选人用人的风气,在对31名干部的选拔任用过程中,没有出现打电话、递条子说情和写信告状
