胡长顺的成长的道路同大多数专业人才相比,更加曲折而艰辛,用一句数学上的术语形容,它是一条转折点颇多的单增函数曲线。他最初的学历仅是一份中专文凭。工作以后,深感自己知识的不足,于是考上我校成教学院进行公路专业的函授学习。他以超人毅力,用不到两年的时间,学完了五年半的课程,再上一个台阶,又考上学校的硕士研究生,成为了成教学院的骄傲。取得硕士学位后,他开始在教学科研的岗位上耕耘,凭着扎实的功底,孜孜不倦的钻研取得了一系列的成绩。他参与主持的国家“八·五”重点项目“高等级交通道路修建水泥混凝土路面的研究”获国家教委科技进步二等奖;国家自然科学基金项目“我国水泥混凝土路面发展对策及修筑技术研究”获交通部科技进步一等奖;他撰写的《公路网络使用性能的评价方法》、《弹性地基薄板与弹性层状体复合结构在轴对称荷载作用下的一般解》等具有创意的论文,在国内外产生较大影响。
Hu Changshun’s path of growth is more tortuous and arduous than most professionals, describing it in terms of a mathematical term as a curve of single-increasing functions with many turning points.
