南大西洋中脊26°S热液区是我国科学家在南大西洋中脊发现的热液区,这是目前为止在大西洋中脊发现的位置最南的热液区。本文应用成因矿物学方法,对取自热液区的烟囱体碎块进行了研究。结果表明,烟囱体由外向内发育3种类型硫化物:富Fe型、Fe-Cu型以及富Cu型硫化物。富Fe型硫化物的矿物组合为黄铁矿-白铁矿;Fe-Cu型硫化物的矿物组合为黄铁矿-黄铜矿;富Cu型硫化物的矿物组合为黄铜矿-黄铁矿。参照Graham的太平洋海隆烟囱理想生长模式,推测26°S热液区烟囱发育较为成熟。
The 26 ° S hydrothermal zone in the mid-Atlantic ridge is a hydrothermal region discovered by Chinese scientists in the mid-Atlantic ridge, which is by far the southernmost hydrothermal region found in the mid-Atlantic ridge. In this paper, genetic mineralogy was used to study chimney fragments from hydrothermal zone. The results show that the chimney body develops three types of sulfide from the outside to the inside: Fe-rich, Fe-Cu and Cu-rich sulfide. The mineral assemblage of Fe-rich sulphides is pyrite-marcasite; the mineral assemblage of Fe-Cu sulphides is pyrite-chalcopyrite; the Cu-rich sulphide mineral assemblage is chalcopyrite-pyrite mine. According to Graham’s ideal growth pattern of Pacific Rise Chimney, it is speculated that the chimney development in 26 ° S hydrothermal zone is relatively mature.
