研究中国少数民族民间绘画艺术在当今多元化教学的理念里面成为参考和借鉴的必要内容。少数民族文化历史和民间绘画艺术以及现代西方不同时期的绘画表现方法两者之间相互借鉴,形成理论与创作的体系,并融合到现代油画色彩造型教学方法中。以点、线、面基本元素的苗族服饰图案里主次和均衡以及对称这三种构图形式配以图案鲜明强烈的色彩关系的重复使用构成了丰富的视觉效果,传达出苗族人民对生活的热爱和执着。苗族服饰图案色彩是典型的地域性美学趣味给予了当代油画创作的教学发展模式有一定的引导性意义。
