目的和方法:利用体外培养的人脐静脉内皮细胞,观察糖基化终产物对该细胞产生一氧化氮(NO)及其对一氧化氮合酶(NOS)活性的影响。结果:发现糖基化终产物组一氧化氮含量明显降低而一氧化氮合酶活性却明显增高,并随浓度、作用时间而发生相应变化。结论:糖基化终产物对内皮细胞产生一氧化氮的影响并不是通过降低NO合酶活性而起作用。
PURPOSE AND METHODS: The effects of advanced glycosylation end products on nitric oxide (NO) production and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity in human umbilical vein endothelial cells were observed. Results: It was found that the levels of nitric oxide in the advanced glycation end products decreased significantly while the activity of nitric oxide synthase was significantly increased, which corresponded with the concentration and duration of action. CONCLUSION: The effect of advanced glycation end products on the production of nitric oxide by endothelial cells does not act by reducing NO synthase activity.
