以韩礼德提出的语篇功能系统中的主述位和衔接手段的理论为基础,采用文献综述、数据分析、对比等研究方法,分别对英语专业八级四个档次的作文范例进行实例分析。通过实例表明,标记性主位、衔接手段及主位一致模式比率应用越高,文章越连贯,分数也越高。所以在英语写作教学中,主述位与语义衔接手段的恰当使用,有益于提高英文写作的连贯性和整体写作质量。
Based on the theory of the main rheme and cohesive means in Halliday’s discourse system proposed by Halliday, this paper uses four methods of literature review, data analysis and comparison to analyze the essay examples of eight grades of English majors. The examples show that the higher the applied rate of marked thematic, cohesive, and thematic modes, the more coherent the articles, the higher the scores. Therefore, in the teaching of English writing, the correct use of means of cohesion and semantic cohesion is conducive to improving the coherence of English writing and the overall quality of writing.
