In this paper, the post-buckling problem of circular thin-film delamination with transverse fiber bridging in composite was solved by using von Karman nonlinear thin-plate theory. The energy release rate and fracture toughness of the bridge delaminated uniformly extended were obtained. Through a large number of calculations and analysis, an important conclusion is obtained: the presence of bridging fibers not only toughens the initial expansion of delamination but also avoids catastrophic delamination expansion. At the same time, the toughening degree of bridging on the initial expansion of delamination is quantitatively given, and the stability of the bridge delamination and the instability of the delamination are confirmed. The range and dynamic effect of instability delamination are also given Estimate.
