2009年,广东省邮政电子商务局凭借自身庞大的会员数据库和各专业资源优势,与相关运营商开展合作,针对传媒市场,推出了一项以短彩信业务为核心,整合邮箱、网站、手机邮局等多方平台资源的全新服务——无线传媒服务。经过几年的积极探索,这项业务已经成为广东邮政电子商务专业的一项新木本业务。截至目前,广东邮政已成功开发无线传媒业务客户240多户,实现收入160多万元,在有效推动全省电子商务专业转型发展的同时,也为改善当前函件账单业务下滑的不利局面提供了有效手段。
