The optical wedge located in the parallel optical path generates distortion aberration. The distortion it produces is a function of the wedge angle a, the incident angle I of the optical axis and the size of the field of view. For the purpose of analyzing and discussing these problems, it is suggested that the optical wedge aberration be represented by two orthogonal components Dx and Dy, and the formula of optical wedge aberration at large optical axis and the third-order approximation formula of field of view are given.
