在唐人相辅而行的叙事类作品中,有诗人与小说家各骋其长,同时创作出来,彼此争胜的,如白居易的《长恨歌》与陈鸿的《长恨歌传》之类;也有诗人之间各具匠心,先后创作出来,互相媲美的,如白氏的《长恨歌》与元稹的《连昌宫词》之类。这是一个有趣的文学现象。细玩这类叙事作品,我们仍然可以从中悟出许多法门,为今天的创作提供有益的借鉴。本文将《长恨歌》和《连昌宫词》作为特例,就它们的叙事艺术作一番比较,用意也在于此。
Among the narrative works that are complementary to each other in the Tang Dynasty, poets and novelists each made their own efforts at the same time, creating and competing with each other, such as Bai Juyi’s Song of Everlasting Sorrow and Chen Hong’s “Song of Everlasting Sorrow”, as well as poets Between each with ingenuity, one after another created, comparable to each other, such as White’s “Everlasting Regret” and the Yuan’s “Lianchang Gong Ci” and the like. This is a fun literary phenomenon. If you play these narrative works carefully, we can still find many ways to provide a useful reference for today’s creation. In this article, “Everlasting Regret” and “Lianchang Gong Ci” are taken as special cases to compare and contrast their narrative art.
