【题记】2005年,当中国汽车零部件的出口首次超过进口时,美国《华尔街日报》曾发表专题文章指出:数年前,中国生产的零部件还是一个低品质的形象,但通过与国外公司的合作,通过引进技术和研发创新,中国造的汽车零部件质量得到迅速提高,中国也正在迅速成为全球汽车零部件的生产强国。2007年国内发动机的产销量分别达到7846693台和7723761台,同比增长25%左右,大于汽车产销量约22%的增长幅度。但相对于汽车全年888万辆和878万辆的产销量,仍有超过100万台发动机需进口。这些占我国发动机产量12%左右的发动机基本都是国内暂时不能生产的高性能发动机,包括大排量的乘用车汽油机、大排量的商用车柴油机等,这表明我国发动机技术水平与国外先进水平仍存在一定差距。
