英语写作是英语学习者最难提高的一项语言技能,也是各类英语考试中国学生最薄弱的环节。对于基础较弱的独立学院学生而言,写作能力的提高已尤为艰难。如何有效提高他们的写作技能是教学过程中的一大难点。英语写作已然成为非英语专业学生最惧怕的练习之一,而教师们也深感作文批阅工作不仅负担重、效率低,且对提高学生写作水平来说收效甚微。如何实现英语写作教与学的“双赢”是教师们面临的重大挑战。在教学实践中,笔者发现在培养兴趣的基础上通过循序渐进的词句积累和“特别”的写作练习可使学生的写作能力得到提高。
English writing is one of the most difficult language skills for English learners to improve and is also the weakest link for Chinese students in various English tests. For underprivileged independent college students, writing skills have become more difficult. How to effectively improve their writing skills is a major challenge in the teaching process. English writing has become one of the most feared exercises for non-English majors. Teachers are also deeply involved in writing essay reviews. They are not only burdensome, inefficient, and have little effect on improving students’ writing skills. How to achieve “win-win” teaching and learning of English writing is a major challenge for teachers. In teaching practice, the author found that based on the cultivation of interest, students’ writing ability can be improved through step-by-step expression accumulation and “special” writing practice.
