磷霉素（Ｆｏｓｆｏｎｏｙｃｉｎｐｈｏｓｐｈｏｎｏｍｙｃｉｎ）为一广谱抗生素。自１９６９年从西班牙土壤中分离得到的新霉素链霉菌（Ｓｔｒｅｐｔｏｍｙｃｅｓｆｒａｄｉａｅ）产生以来，至１９７５年在马德里召开的国际性讨论会上，一致认为它是一个很有价值的新抗生素。
Fosfomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. Since the discovery of Streptomyces fradiae isolated from soil in Spain in 1969, it was agreed that it was a valuable new antibiotic at the 1975 International Symposium in Madrid.
