维果茨基认为:各种符号是人类的精神生产工具,语言符号是使心理活动得到质的变化的中介。儿童掌握了语言,才能真正使低级心理机能转化为高级心理机能。而数学是思维的体操,语言是思维的外壳,数学思维的发展更是离不开数学语言的发展,因此数学语言表达能力的高低,直接影响到学生数学思维水平的提升。作为一名小学数学教师,应在日常的课堂教学中致力于培养学生数学语言的表达能力,以帮助学生实现生活语言向数学语言的过渡,让学生在数学课堂上不仅想说、敢说,而且能说、会说。
