近年来随着城际交通发展迅速,城市间出行越来越便捷,城际旅游也随之兴起。本文以城际旅游为研究对象,从概念界定入手,从发展阶段、空间机制两方面进行研究,以此为城际旅游进一步发展提供理论支撑与指导。城际旅游概念包括了旅游目的地营销、区域旅游合作两方面内容;城际旅游的发展阶段可以分为初创期、整合期、高潮期3个阶段,其中在初创期主要是组织城际间旅游的城市旅游营销模式,整合期主要是旅游产业部分合作与客源互换的旅游市场互动模式,高潮期主要是整个旅游产业合作的旅游产业联动;城际旅游的空间机制可以分为3种,即以一个核心城市为主导的旅游流单向运动的中心辐射、以两个中心城市为主导的双向复合运动的城市联动、以多个城市联动形成大旅游目的地的网络发展。
