一、概况库尔斯克—91试验时间从1990年11月15日至1991年11月15日。它是国际卫星地球表面气候研究计划的一部分。参加此次试验的国家有8个,即苏联、美国、中国、波兰、捷克和斯洛伐克、古巴、日本、英国,汇集了地理、生态、水文、遥感等各个领域的专家学者。美国有NASA等八个单位14人参加,苏联有莫斯科大学地理系、气象系、地球物理系、外语系、库尔斯克师范学院地理系等院校师生及大气所、电子所等9个单位共200多人,是一项规模较大、周期较长、多学科综合性立体观测科学试验,试验准备充分、计划周密、目的明确、分工负责获取了从美苏多种卫星、航空、到地面观测的大量资料与数据。
