翻开全国人民代表大会的史册,1954年9月15日,是一个值得纪念的日子。第一届全国人民代表大会第一次会议在北京召开,这标志着人民代表大会在全国范围内自下而上普遍建立起来,从此开辟了我国民主法制建设的新篇章。第一届全国人民代表大会共有代表1226人,不仅有新中国的开国元勋,还有民主人士、工人、农民、解放军、知识分子、艺术家等各行各业的杰出人物。半个多世纪过去了,目前健在的一届全国人大代表已寥若晨星,且都到了耄耋之年,更有几位已超过百岁。为及时抢救和挖掘有关一届全国人大极为珍贵的历史资料,为后人展现全国人民代表大会50多年的发展历史和新中国建国初期民主法制建设的真实情况,我们推出“寻访一届全国人大代表”系列人物报道,请这些老人讲述当年的故事。
Open the annals of the National People’s Congress, September 15, 1954, is a memorable day. The first NPC meeting of the First National People’s Congress was held in Beijing, marking the general establishment of the People’s Congress in the country from the bottom up and opening up a new chapter in the construction of China’s democratic legal system. The first National People’s Congress represented 1,226 people, not only the founding fathers of the People’s Republic of China, but also prominent figures in various fields such as democrats, workers, peasants, PLA, intellectuals and artists. More than half a century has passed. At present, the NPC representatives who are still alive are few and far from the moon, and all of them have come to their weakest years. More than a few have already surpassed one hundred. In order to timely rescue and excavate the extremely precious historical materials concerning the first NPC, to show the future generations more than 50 years of development history of the National People’s Congress and the real situation of democracy and legal system in the early days after the founding of People’s Republic of China, we launched the “ On behalf of ”series of figures reported, please tell the story of the elderly that year.
