Oilfield development into the high water cut period, the rod eccentric wear is the main reason for the oil well pump operation. In this paper, the various factors that cause partial wear of the pipe rod are analyzed in detail, preventive measures are put forward in a targeted way, and good results are obtained through on-site practice.
