细胞外基质在汇管区和肝小叶内的过度沉积是肝纤维化的主要病理特点。目前认为激活的肝星状细胞是肝纤维化时细胞外基质的主要来源 ,细胞外基质不仅具有连接和支持细胞组织的作用 ,而且通过与膜受体结合调控细胞的迁移、增殖、分化、粘附和表型表达等生物学过程 ,它们之间的相互作用与肝纤维化过程密切相关 ,了解其作用机制可以为治疗肝纤维化提供重要信息。
