Dioscorin是薯蓣(Dioscorea spp.)植物块茎中主要的贮藏蛋白,具有块茎特异性表达的特点。研究证实它不仅有一般贮藏蛋白的特性,该特性可能与薯蓣块茎的形成过程密切相关;而且还有碳酸酐酶、胰蛋白酶抑制剂、抗氧化、抗高血压以及免疫调节的活性,故薯蓣植物具有开发成功能性食品和蛋白质类医药的潜力。该文就近年来对其块茎特异蛋白的结构特征、性质和功能以及在分子生物学水平上的研究进展进行了综述。

In this paper, recent advances in the structural features, properties and functions of tuber-specific proteins and their advances in molecular biology are reviewed.
