于德金(长春光机学院)/摘要:光学双稳态在光学数据处理和全光学型计算中有潜在的应用前景,使得光学双稳开关问题变得至关重要。目前,对于色散型光学双稳开关的研究比较少。在实际问题中,色散是不可避免的。我们利用VAX8600计算机,在各种条件下求解了瞬态光学双稳的方程组,着重研究了色散对开关输出的影响。无论是在“好腔”还是“坏腔”情况下,入射激光频率与原子跃迁频率的偏离对开关的输出和上升时间都有影响,使得输出强度减小,开关上升时间增长。发现在“坏腔”情况下,色散有抑制输出振荡的作用。
Yu Dejin (Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics) / Abstract: Optical bistability has potential applications in optical data processing and all-optical computing, making optical bistable switching issues crucial. At present, there are few studies on the dispersion type optical bistable switch. In practical problems, dispersion is inevitable. Using the VAX8600 computer, we solved the transient optical bistable equations under various conditions, focusing on the effect of dispersion on the output of the switch. In both “good” and “bad” cases, the deviation of the incident laser frequency from the atomic transition frequency has an influence on the output and rise time of the switch, so that the output intensity is reduced and the switch-on time is increased. It is found that in the “bad cavity” situation, dispersion has the effect of suppressing the output oscillation.
