九年义务教育三年制初级中学教科书《语文》,自1993年秋开始使用,到1996年夏将满三年。这样,1996年夏参加中考的考生,便完成了义务教育语文学科的学习任务,并将接受各类中考的检阅。1996年的中考是义务教育教科书使用后的首次终结性或选拔性考试;各地的中考试题将会呈现出新的面貌和特点。概括地说,就是在“保持稳定,稳中求变”的原则下,将更加强调贯彻义务教育教学大纲的总体精神,突出语文学科的基础工具性质,注重语文能力的养成和实践,同时按照义务教育教科书的内容适当调整考试范围。为此,今年的试题荟萃,特别注意以《纲》为纲,把“能力要求”和“能力训练”摆在突出位置,以期引起广大师生的高度重视。
