Reader Appreciation: Your photography is completely self-taught, right? Can you give us an introduction to your photography experience? Elena Platonova: My dad likes photography very much. At the age of 5, I got the first camera in my life. My father taught me how to use it. I’m addicted to the darkroom atmosphere. We were there to wash the photos, watching the photos gradually developed, this mysterious feeling for a long time remain in my memory. When I was a young man, I had a model, but I prefer photography to standing in front of the camera.
