笔者对学生书面表达进行分析,发现学生的表达思维层次较浅,中西方语言表达习惯差异较大。因思维质量的差异而影响到书面表达,是如此的显而易见。有些学生思路畅通无阻、表达流畅,而有些学生思绪混乱、词不达意,两者形成了鲜明的对比。如果能够在书面表达中保持思维的最佳状态最好,问题是思维本身的隐蔽性令学生觉得写作思维难以捉摸,再加上英语书面表达的思维方式又是长期积淀而成,非一朝一夕之功,这又令学生对英语思维训练望而生畏。这种心理障碍其实是多余的。心存畏惧的主要原因是因为对思维缺少了解,一旦了解了,就会觉得思维的训练并不难,只要掌握其中可操作的规律,还是容易上手的。
