为了满足自由电子激光装置对于直线加速器微波功率源更新更高的性能指标,设计了基于绝缘栅双极性晶体管(IGBT)模块为开关的大功率固态调制器系统。调制器采用感应叠加拓扑结构,设计输出峰值脉冲功率13 MW,脉冲电压130 kV,脉冲电流100 A。详细介绍了大功率调制器的单元电路以及单元模块中关键的辅助电路,包括开关管的保护电路、阻尼吸收回路、去磁电路和补偿电路。利用软件对调制器系统进行模拟仿真,并对可能出现的模块差异性进行比较。结果表明,感应叠加型固态脉冲调制器技术是可行的。
In order to meet the renewed higher performance of the free electron laser device for the linear accelerator microwave power source, a high-power solid-state modulator system based on an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) module is designed. The modulator uses an inductive overlay topology with a designed output peak pulse power of 13 MW, a pulse voltage of 130 kV and a pulse current of 100 A. Described in detail the high-power modulator unit circuit and the key modules of the auxiliary circuit, including the switch circuit protection, damping absorption circuit, demagnetization circuit and compensation circuit. The software simulates the modulator system and compares the possible module differences. The results show that induction superposition type solid state pulse modulator technology is feasible.
