In general the soil contains a large amount of phosphorus. According to the analysis, the amount of phosphorus in the tillage layer of an acre farmland soil is about one hundred kilograms, equivalent to more than one tonne of superphosphate, but in fact, only about 1% is effective, and most of the remaining phosphorus can not be absorbed by the plants.
