如图1所示,我厂某机自动倾斜仪上的球铰和球铰保持架,球面直径Φ254毫米,球面精度0.02毫米,球面光洁度▽9,要求球铰和球铰保持架的贴合面积不少于90%,材料分别是LC4CS和铜合金。工厂原拟订购一台精密的球加工机床来加工球铰和球铰保持架。后来,因考虑到减少投资和保证及时投入使用,决定用旧车床进行改装,以满足生产的需要。作为改装的第一步,是先将C630车床原有刀架改成一个回转刀架来进行球面的车削加工。
