见到韩雪，是在偶像剧《爱情占线》位于杭州大剧院的片场里，她蹬着一双10厘米高的细高跟鞋敲击出清脆的声音，把170厘米高的身材衬得更加与众不同。那个早已不是唱着《竹林风》的女孩，正拿着芒果布丁低头猛吃，刚刚晋升为“新玉女掌门人”的她，看起来星味十足。
　　
　　《爱情占线》：一边是爱情，一边是生活
　　
　　韩雪在《爱情占线》中饰演的慕北北，是个从公司底层走向成功的女孩，慕北北活泼乐观，十分坦率，因此吸引了剧中的霍建华和李铭顺这两位男人的注目，让他们三人间展开了一场情感纠葛。刚刚在上海提前拍摄的大结局让韩雪甚为开心，因为该剧编剧别出心裁地推出两个版本的结尾；一个新加坡版，一个内地版，新加坡版本中慕北北终于被多年来不离不弃苦追自己的李铭顺打动，情归新加坡；而在内地版本，韩雪也如愿以偿，与霍建华“有情人终成眷属”。这样的设计，韩雪觉得十分合理，她说：“两种结局代表两种生活态度：一种是选择爱情，一种是选择生活。对一个女孩子来说很难确定究竟该选择爱情还是生活，至少我自己还没有面临这个问题，所以很难设想如果自己遇到这情况该如何选择。现在这个年龄肯定希望爱情和生活都能兼顾，但经过时间的历练会有不同的选择，无论选哪个都没有错，不过我理解的慕北北应该是向往爱情多一些。”
　　慕北北这个角色得来真不易。当初导演蒋家俊拍摄《男才女貌》时，便已将颜如玉这一角色锁定在韩雪身上，连服装都已经准备好了，后来因为正在读大二的韩雪未被学校批准外出而作罢。之后的《出水芙蓉》和《现代美女》，韩雪也都一一与之擦肩而过，一直到《爱情占线》才真正出演。同时，她与爱情也几度擦身而过，没有半点火花。笔者看到，眼下来到片场后的韩雪，独自坐在远离摄影机的角落，吃着助理给准备好的木瓜，或者翻看杂志，或者把玩手上一个黑色镶钻的游戏机，没与剧组其他成员打成一片，“冰美人”的称号由此传开。
　　正如她自己所说，她的个性使她对陌生人话不多，不爱与别人交流，哪怕在娱乐圈里这么多年，她也从不爱扎堆，也没有特别要好的朋友。谈到这样的个性，韩雪没觉得有什么不好，因为每个人都是一个独立个体，都有自己要走的路，刻意的改变只会让自己失去更多原本所拥有的美好。说到角色，韩雪又笑着说：“慕北北的积极乐观和有话直说的性格在一定程度上影响了自己，现在我好像比过去开朗活泼了许多。”
　　
　　演而优则唱还是唱而优则演
　　
　　很多人认识韩雪，是因为她唱的那首《竹林风》。其实她不是歌手出道，她主演的《错爱一生》，曾经在中央电视台播出13次，她本人还是上海戏剧学院表演系01级本科班的学生，所以说不清楚她到底是因为演而优则唱，还是唱而优则演。也许有人就是那么幸运，在得到美貌的同时也有天分。
　　
　　韩雪自2004年推出首张专辑《飘雪》以来，便以“新人王”的姿态立足歌坛；2006年推出的第二张专辑《夏恋情》后使她登上“最佳歌手”的领奖台，主打歌《竹林风》更成为2007年春节联欢晚会上让人难忘的一个节目，据悉她的第三张专辑目前也已进入倒计时阶段。最近，韩雪凭借唱功实力外加“近水楼台”的运气，夺得《北平小姐》主题曲《大雁归》的演唱权，该曲由华语歌坛著名音乐人缪森作曲，特邀乐坛高人文雅老师填词。
　　韩雪在影视上交出的成绩也不赖。在近期闭幕的上海电视节上，韩雪的三部作品《北平小姐》《爱情占线》《巧克力情人》成为了各大电视台的首选。在《巧克力情人》中韩雪作为剧中女一号，一人的服装费用就将近20万，它讲述的是四对年轻男女在历经一系列挫折和磨难后终于找到真爱的故事，韩雪和男主演陈浩民扮演的艾晴和项少扬，是一对从“一张契约”开始的恋人；《北平小姐》是由央视巨资投拍的年度大戏，它描写30年代的北平，在战争来临前夕一群年轻人的爱恨情仇。韩雪饰演的原国会议员独生女旷美娇，风华绝代，天资聪明，在锦衣玉食中长大的她，怀着对爱情的憧憬以及对未来的美好幻想踏入了社会，若干年后日军侵华，一直生活在深闺大院的旷美娇在亲情、友情、爱情上均受到一系列的创伤，人生从此改变。值得一提的是，围绕着韩雪的全是大牌明星：陈道明扮演韩雪的生父，刘威扮演韩雪的养父，何冰饰演了深爱着韩雪的干哥哥，杨若兮出演韩雪的好友，台湾演员窦智孔出演韩雪的哥哥。这些对韩雪来说，不仅是个千载难逢的机会，也是影视圈对这个新晋“玉女掌门人”的一致肯定。

　　Han Xue is personifying a rags-to-riches girl entangled in a romantic triangle in the new play. The denouement, just done in advance in Shanghai, gives the starlet an opportunity to enjoy herself. The romance has two finales. In the version tailored for the Singaporean audience, the heroine, finally touched by a man from Singapore, decides to come to Singapore and marry the man. In the version made for the mainland audience, she marries another man. Han Xue comments that the two versions represent different preferences: one emphasizes love and the other life. Han Xue confesses that she has two minds about these choices and has difficulty imagining how she would choose. She says she would choose something in between: a life with love. But different experiences would help make different decisions, she admits, and none should be regarded as wrong. But she feels that the woman would go for love.
　　The opportunity to star as lead woman in this series comes to Han Xue after some other important opportunities passed by. Director Jiang Jiajun picked Han to lead in his “Talented Man and Beautiful Woman? but the college where Han Xue was studying did not approve the request. Han had to let go two other lead role offers before the ban was lifted.
　　
　　During the filming process, Han keeps herself away from her colleagues. She sits alone in a corner far away from the camera, reading some magazines or playing games on a handheld game console. She makes no efforts to enjoy the company of any colleague. That is how she comes to be known as an icy beauty.
　　She confesses that it is her nature that she prefers to stay alone. Even though she has been in the acting career for many years, she does not have any intimate friend within the circle. She prefers this way of life and does not wish to change herself to suit other people. To change herself, she is afraid to lose the original self she cares so much to maintain. However, she observes that the active and optimistic attitude of the heroine is affecting her a great deal. She feels that she is much more cheerful now.
　　Some people first know of Han Xue through a MTV song she sang. But Han made her name known across the country in a teleplay named “Misplaced but Lifelong Love? It was screened 13 times at CCTV alone. At that time, she was a freshman at the performance department of the Shanghai Theater Academy. No one is sure whether she made her fame through the song or through her starring in blockbuster television series. Some people say she is one of the few who are simply lucky enough to be both beautiful and talented.
　　Her first song album entitled “Drifting Snow?released in 2004 won her the best new singer prize that year. Her second album in 2006 named “Love in Summer?made her the best singer. “Breeze through Bamboos? the theme song of the album, was performed at the CCTV’s 2007 Spring Festival Variety Show, a dream opportunity that every singer in the country yearns to grab. The release of her third album is at the countdown.
　　At the Shanghai Television Festival just held in June, 2007, three series in which she stars were chosen by various television networks for screening at prime times.
