自由电子激光是近年来诞生的一种新型激光,它除了具有普通激光的优良特性外,还具有很多独特的优点。产生自由电子激光发射的方法有很多种,但是被广泛采用并且被认为最有前途的方法是让一束相对论电子束通过一个周期变化的静磁场摇摆器或波荡器而产生激光辐射。本文以螺旋线圈产生的周期摇摆磁场为例,研究了自由电子激光产生的理论基础。
Free electron laser is a new kind of laser born in recent years. It has many unique advantages in addition to the excellent characteristics of ordinary laser. There are many ways to generate free-electron laser emission, but the most widely adopted and considered the most promising one is the generation of laser radiation by a beam of relativistic electron beams through a periodically varying static magnetic field rocker or undulator. In this paper, the periodic oscillating magnetic field generated by helical coil is taken as an example to study the theoretical basis of free electron laser generation.
