部分跨国公司的产品在全国一线到四线城市中都有着非常高的品牌知名度和认可度,但是由于三四线城市与一二线城市渠道的差异性,其发展受到限制。几乎所有的跨国公司进入中国后都从北京、上海、广州等消费能力相对较强的一线城市登陆。此后,一二线城市也一直是它们的主战场。然而,伴随着2008年金融危机的到来,以及本世纪以来各项优惠政策的取消,跨国公司发现一二线城市的生意越来越不好做。
Some multinational corporations have very high brand awareness and recognition in the first-tier and fourth-tier cities across the country. However, due to the differences in the channels between the third and fourth tier cities and the first and second tier cities, their development is limited. Almost all multinational corporations enter China after landing from first-tier cities with relatively strong spending power in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Since then, tier one and tier cities have also been their main battlegrounds. However, with the advent of the 2008 financial crisis and the elimination of various preferential policies this century, multinational corporations found that the businesses in the first and second tier cities were getting worse and worse.
