经中华人民共和国文化部批准，由中央音乐学院与俄罗斯肖邦青少年国际钢琴比赛组委会联合主办、中央音乐学院附中承办的第五届肖邦青少年国际钢琴比赛，将于2006年9月9日～17日在北京举行。 肖邦青少年国际钢琴比赛是在肖邦协会莫斯科分会、俄罗斯文化部、莫斯科市政府支持下，俄罗斯国家音乐协会为16岁以下少年钢琴演奏者创办的国际钢琴比赛。该项赛事自1992年开始，每4年在莫斯科举行一次。迄今已经成功举办了
