CTJ700-3型轮胎式掘进凿岩台车是由宣化风动机械厂、马鞍山矿山研究院、长沙矿山研究院、大庙铁矿和梅山铁矿三结合研制的。它主要适用于冶金矿山无底柱分段崩落采矿法进路巷道掘进,也可用于铁路燧道、水工涵洞及地下峒室开挖等工程。该台车自1973年开始研制,先后试制出两代样机,在大庙铁矿、梅山铁矿进行了工业性试验,共掘进3×4米~2断面巷道1000多米。两代样机经工业试验后均交付矿山生产使用,已成为我国冶金矿山急需的高效凿岩设备。一机部、冶金部于1978年4月在承钢大庙铁矿联合主持召开了CTJ700-3型轮胎式掘进凿岩台车鉴定会,会议一致认为,该台车研制是成功的,
CTJ700-3 type of wheel excavation drilling rig by the Xuanhua Fengdonggongju, Maanshan Institute of Mining, Changsha Institute of Mining, Temple Iron Mine and Meishan Iron Mine developed three combined. It is mainly applied to tunneling of roadway with subsidence-free subsidence mining method in pillar of metallurgical mine, and can also be used in the excavation of railway tunnels, hydraulic culverts and underground tunnels. The trolley has been developed since 1973 and has been trial-produced for two generations of prototypes. Industrial tests were carried out at the Daming Iron Mine and the Meishan Iron Mine, and a total of over 1,000 meters of roadways of 3 × 4-2 m in length were excavated.
