The situation in which Chinese sentences can be translated into English passive sentences is complicated, but in general there are only two situations. The first is to use vocabulary means (such as quilt, accept, give, ignorance, confession, for..., yes... The passive patterns of Chinese-language patterns expressed by He et al.). The characteristics of such passive sentences in Chinese are constituted by inserting a subject-predicate structure or just inserting a predicate (subject implied) after expressing a sign of passive meaning such as being received, accepted, etc. This type of sentence is translated into benevolent mode of be + pp when translating into English. The other type is that there is no vocabulary means in the Chinese sentence that represents passive meaning but can be translated into English.
