一、什么叫轭式搭配轭式搭配(Zeugma)是指:“用一个形容词或动词勉强修饰或支配两个名词的方法,如把with weeping eyes and grieving hearts写作with weeping eyes and hearts”.(见“新英汉词典”)轭式搭配在科技英语中出现较少,因为科技英语讲的是科学事实,要求逻辑严密,避免产生误解.但在文学语言中,作者常常运用各种修辞手段,在读者可以意会的情况下,使文字简洁,例如著名作家奥·亨利在描写土尔宾太太的动作和神态
