三一学社是抗战中后期主管全国工业建设的资源委员会选派的 3 1名赴美国实习人员组成的学术团体。该学社的成立既是第二次世界大战期间中美关系出现重大转折的一个重要事件 ,也是中国工业发展史上的一件大事。这次赴美实习 ,从标准的制定到人员的选派 ,从实习的内容到管理的方式 ,与传统的出国留学模式有明显的区别。三一学社的成员虽然不多 ,但他们后来大多成为国内工业部门不同专业领域造诣颇深的专门人才 ,其中相当一部分成为国内一些新兴工业或工艺的开拓者和奠基人 ,为日后中国 (包括台湾地区 )工业的发展和社会的进步做出了重要的贡献。这次选派人员赴美开启了中国工业技术及管理人员赴美实习的先声 ,为进一步发展中美关系产生了深远的影响。
Trinity Society is the academic community composed of 31 interns from the United States who were selected by the resource committee in charge of the nationwide industrial construction in the latter part of the War of Resistance Against Japan. The establishment of this institute was not only an important event of a major turning point in Sino-U.S. Relations during the Second World War, but also a major event in the history of China’s industrial development. The internship to the United States, from the standard formulation to the selection of personnel, from the internship to the management of content, and the traditional pattern of studying abroad there are significant differences. Although there are not many members of Trinity College, most of them later became professionals specialized in different fields of specialization in the industrial sector in the country. A considerable part of them were pioneers and founders of some emerging industries or processes in China, Taiwan) made an important contribution to the development of industry and social progress. The deployment of personnel to the United States opened the door to the internship of Chinese industrial technicians and managers in the United States and had a profound impact on further developing Sino-U.S. Relations.
