China’s oil exploration business is rapidly developing. However, as the amount of production increased, it also resulted in residual sludge that had been released from the crude oil after production, containing 35% of crude oil, 40% of water and 25% of sediment . Hundreds of thousands of tons of sewage sludge was thrown away, not only occupied the arable land, but also polluted the natural environment of the earth. What is even more unfortunate is that 35% of the crude oil contained in the sludge is also thrown away. As a result, this project will bring enormous economic losses to the country. At present, some people of insight at home and abroad are working on the separation of crude oil, water and sediment in sludge. However, there is no report on the success of this project in the media.
