三峡工程是一个系统工程，它涉及水利、电力、航运、地质、地理等领域及自然景观问题。以实地调查资料为依据，系统分析了三峡建设中的有利因素与不利条件，特别论证了资源保护与经济发展的关系，提出了相应的对策，为三峡库区经济开发战略提供科学依据，必将对国家决策部门起到应有的咨询作用。
The Three Gorges Project is a systematic project that involves such issues as water conservancy, electricity, shipping, geology, geography, and natural landscape issues. Based on the field survey data, the system analyzes the favorable and unfavorable conditions in the construction of the Three Gorges Project, particularly demonstrates the relationship between resource protection and economic development, and proposes corresponding countermeasures to provide scientific basis for the economic development strategy of the Three Gorges reservoir area. To play a proper advisory role to the national decision-making department.
