A new study in the UK shows that the birth weight of a baby is related to the pattern of future brain activity. This finding helps to analyze some of the psychiatric problems associated with this. Researchers at institutions such as the University of Southampton reported in a comprehensive online publication, Science Public Libraries, that they tested brain activity in 140 English children aged 8 to 9 years and measured their binaural eardrums Temperature changes, which can reflect the left and right hemispheres of the blood supply status and the corresponding pattern of brain activity. The results showed that those born at a lighter weight, the right hemisphere of the brain is often more active than the left hemisphere.
