Although she has the status of a black female writer, she opposes to be assigned a specific theme. She does not want her works to involve the division of race, class and gender She could not be included in the classification of colonial writers, feminist writers or other literary genres. But we find her poetry embodying national, class and gender voices in a unique perspective of space and space. This paper attempts to interpret the feminist voices embodied in Duff’s poem from the perspective of feminism, which shows that although Duff is not a typical feminist poet, her works also clearly reflect her concerns about women’s issues.
