If there is any more certain scientific conclusion in economics over the two hundred years since Adam Smith founded modern economics, there must be such a thing: economic freedom. In other words, the freedom to start a business and to exchange freedom on the basis of secure and secure property rights are the basic motive force for economic and social progress. To this conclusion, the greatest economists, such as Smith, Friedman and Hayek, have given solid logical proof. However, since the 20th century, economists are more obsessed with measurement methods, as if there is no figure, there is no economics. Therefore, an important work of contemporary economists is to constantly invent some measurement tools to prove the above common sense in economics by figures. Is this economic progress or stagnation? Really bad to say.
