自1977年起,阿里·瓦迪ArieVardi即参与以色列的鲁宾斯坦钢琴大赛的评审工作,多年来担任这项比赛的评审主席一职,与比赛创办人简·比斯崔斯基JanJ.Bistritzky均为这项重要的国际钢琴比赛的核心人物。①瓦迪也经常受邀担任其他多项国际比赛的评审,近年来主要包括肖邦大赛2000年、柴科夫斯基大赛2002年)、滨松2000年与2003年和中国大赛2004年等。目前任教于特拉维夫大学鲁宾音乐院与汉诺威音乐院的瓦迪,门下可谓人才济济,历年培育出不少比赛场上名列前茅的年轻钢琴家。近年有几位杰出的中国钢琴新秀,也纷纷到汉诺威音乐院随瓦迪深造,其中包括陈萨、王笑寒与李云迪等。笔者在考察国际钢琴比赛的历程中,曾两度遇到瓦迪,分别为2000年的肖邦大赛和滨松大赛。他给笔者的初步印象,是一位个性拘谨、态度严谨的老派绅士,话虽不多,却能切中要领。笔者与他所做较为深入的一次访谈,是2000年10月14日下午,在华沙爱乐厅的后台休息区。当时第13届肖邦大赛的复赛已经结束,傍晚即将宣布入围准决赛的12位参赛者名单。在大约四十分钟的专访中,我们从音乐比赛的评审制度,一直谈到瓦迪个人的音乐观以及鲁宾斯坦钢琴大赛。
Since 1977, Arie Vardi has been involved in the assessment of the Rubenstein Piano Competition in Israel for many years as the chairman of the competition and JanJ.Bistritzky, the founder of the competition, Key to the International Piano Competition. ① Wadi is also often invited to serve as judge of many other international competitions. In recent years, it mainly includes the Chopin Competition 2000 and the Tchaikovsky Competition 2002), Hamamatsu 2000 and 2003 and China Competition 2004 and so on. Currently teaching at the Tel Aviv University Rubin and Hanover Conservatory of Music Wadi, can be described as talent, over the years to cultivate many of the best young pianists on the field. In recent years, there are several outstanding Chinese piano rookies who have also gone to the Hanover Conservatory to study with Wadi, including Chen Sa, Wang Xiao Han and Yundi Li. In the course of examining the international piano competition, the author once met Wadi twice, namely the Chopin Competition and the Hamamatsu Competition in 2000 respectively. His initial impression to the author is a cautious, strict attitude of the old school gentleman, if not much, but can cut essentials. The author conducted an in-depth interviews with him, the afternoon of October 14, 2000, at the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall backstage area. At that time the 13th Chopin Competition rematch has ended, the evening will be shortlisted finalists 12 contestants list. In a forty-minute interview, we talked about Waddy’s personal musical view and the Rubenstein Piano Competition from the music competition reviewing system.
