After I reprinted the article “Refusing to Make Friend with the 70’s Students in the 18th Century” in 2000, I displeased many of my friends. When I look closely, Li Tianshi’s article is really too extreme. How can one suddenly pull a generation? Although a person’s article does not represent our “Chinese youth,” it can be forwarded after “China Young ”, let us also uncomfortable. Readers’ sense of anguish is justified. Who wants to criticize people for their birth? If I could represent “Chinese youth,” I would apologize to friends of the 1970’s. All I can do now is to post three letters from a representative reader and see how my 70’s friend thought about it.
