研究性学习是一种以“学生和老师”为双主体的新型教学方式。目前在农村实施研究性学习潜存的问题:农村基础教育物质条件薄弱;研究性学习在农村缺乏相关政策支持;师资力量薄弱、教师整体素质不高,教育观念陈旧,教学模式单一落后,教师自己本身的动手能力也不强;农村信息闭塞缺乏沟通,对研究性学习认识不足;农村中小学的科研氛围淡薄;基于这几点现状,在农村开展研究性学习可以考虑以下方案:从外部条件上,当地政府因地制宜发展经济,重视科教兴农战略,加大对教育的投入;发展完善对研究性学习的政策支持体系;改造师资队伍提高教师整体素质,确保教师的研究型地位,激发教师的自主动手热情,转变教育观念,优化人才培养模式;开阔视野,加强沟通,加大宣传力度,促进对研究性学习的了解;提倡并鼓励教学科研活动,营造科研氛围;从内部操作上看,选题要慎重、灵活;课程设置要合理;加大教师的指导力度;重视教育评价。
