任何一种外语的教学都是在学习者已经掌握了母语的条件下进行的,母语对外语教学的影响是一个不可回避的问题,因此探讨母语在外语教学中的作用势在必行。习语是经过人们长时间使用而提炼出来的固定短语或短句,是语言的特殊成分。英汉习语承载着不同的民族文化特色和文化信息,它们与文化传统紧密相连,不可分割。本文分析了英语教学中英汉习语中的文化差异,并提出了翻译时的应对策略。
The teaching of any kind of foreign language is carried out under the condition that the learner already mastered the mother tongue. The influence of mother tongue on foreign language teaching is an unavoidable problem. Therefore, it is imperative to explore the role of mother tongue in foreign language teaching. Idioms are fixed phrases or short sentences extracted by people for a long time and are special components of language. English and Chinese idioms carry different national cultural characteristics and cultural information, which are closely linked with cultural traditions and inseparable. This article analyzes the cultural differences between English and Chinese idioms in English teaching and puts forward some countermeasures when translating.
