“Free talk”因其操作性强而被广泛运用于英语课堂“warm-up”环节中。有效的“Free talk”具有激发学习兴趣、启迪学生思维、锻炼学生英语表达能力、提供教学反馈信息等功能。但纵观平时的课堂教学,受各种因素制约,“Free talk”的作用并没有达到最大化,有时甚至流于形式。基于此,从教师的操作方式,“Free talk”的话题选取以及“Free talk”的新颖形式等层面探索实施该环节的有效策略,从而让“Free talk”在小学英语课堂中发挥其应有的作用。
“Free talk ” is widely used in the English classroom “warm-up ” because of its operability. Effective “Free talk ” has the function of stimulating learning interest, enlightening students ’thinking, training students’ English expression ability and providing teaching feedback information. However, in the usual classroom teaching, subject to various factors, the role of “Free talk ” has not been maximized and sometimes even formalized. Based on this, we explore the effective strategies to implement this aspect from the aspects of the teacher’s operation mode, the topic selection of “Free talk” and the novel form of “Free talk” so as to let “Free talk” in the primary English classroom In its proper role.
