最近,地热钻井深度有增加的倾向,要求提高钻具、器材的耐热性。PDC钻头同在地热钻井中普及的牙轮钻头相比,在耐热性方向占优势,是钻过高温地层不可缺少的钻头。但是,目前钻头在地热钻井中的使用成绩非常少,甚至连进行钻头设计的准则都没有。为此,以过去制作钻头的设计数据及其钻头的室内、现场钻进实验结果为基础,就PDC地热钻头的切削具(即PDC)镶焊数量、镶焊角度、钻头体端面形状以及切削具排列等,探讨了设计准则,并根据该准则进行了直径215.9mm(8 1/2英寸)全面钻头的设计。
Recently, the geothermal drilling depth tends to increase, requiring increased heat resistance of drilling tools and equipment. PDC bits are more heat resistant than cone roller bits that are popular in geothermal drilling and are indispensable for drilling through high temperature formations.
