Some critics have argued that the Huck Finn tradition in 20th century American literature originated in Mark Twain’s Adventures of Tom Sawyer, such as the Red Bravery Order and Catcher in the Rye. This paper argues that this tradition actually originated from American pioneer Cooper pioneer. Although the two works have been published for 50 years, they both reflect the characteristics of frontier literature, that is, the tradition of leather socks described in this article. This dissertation starts with the similarities between the two works and the similarities between the two main characters, Huck Finn and Natty Bamber, demonstrating that the Adventures of Tom Sawyer is actually Mark Twain’s Inspired by his predecessor, Cooper Trail Blazers. Thus come to the 20th century American literature characteristics originated in Cooper’s “pioneer” that the United States 20th century literary features is the tradition of leather socks instead of Huck. Finn tradition.
