英语阅读是英语学习的重要组成部分。它的目的就是帮助学生提高阅读速度,进行逻辑推理、评价判断、理解文章、归纳活动的能力,增加获取信息量、扩大知识面。阅读理解能力的高低直接影响和制约着英语听、说、写等各方面能力的形成和发展。因此,教师应注重当前学生在阅读过程中所存在的问题,对症下药,有的放矢,培养学生正确的阅读习惯,充分调动学习的主观能动性,更好地完成阅读理解这一教学任务。在此,笔者想谈一谈如何在阅读实践中提高英语阅读能力。 English reading is an important part of English learning. Its purpose is to help students improve reading speed, make logical reasoning, evaluate judgments, understand articles, sum up the ability of activities, increase access to information, and expand knowledge. The level of reading comprehension directly affects and restricts the formation and development of English listening, speaking and writing. Therefore, teachers should pay attention to the problems existing in the reading process of the students. They should prescribe the right medicine, have the right results, cultivate the students’ correct reading habits, fully mobilize the subjective initiative of the study, and better complete the teaching task of reading comprehension. Here, I would like to talk about how to improve my English reading ability in reading practice.
