Lake wetland ecosystem and coastal geography are important parts of geomorphology research. It is helpful to further understand the geomorphological features of Alaska in central and southern China by studying the lake, wetland and seashore geographical features in south-central Alaska. On the premise of combing the knowledge of major lakes, wetlands and coasts and their genetic characteristics, the lake, wetland and seashore geographical features in south-central Alaska were analyzed. Pointed out: 1 The recent glacier movement is an important reason for the formation of numerous lakes and wetlands in Alaska, central and southern China. The most prominent of the other lakes of non-glacial origin that can be seen in Central and South Alaska is the oxbow lakes, where most of the oxbow lakes in Central and Southern Alaska are developed beside the Sussena River valleys.2 Many parts of Central and South Alaska Wetlands are widely distributed and many types of wetlands are distributed in the Susitna Valley, the Copper River basin, and most of the lowlands of the Kenai Peninsula; 3 Central South Alaska’s coastline runs along Cook Creek, Princes Bay and the Gulf of Alaska extension. The coastline of Central and South Alaska is highly variable and is affected by many factors - wave erosion, sediment deposition, geostationary forces, sea level rise and glacier effects.
