为了适应经济的快速发展以及社会对职业教育的需求,促进中高职教育又好又快的发展,根据国家出台的相关文件精神,部分地市对中高职院校进行了整合。中高职院校实施整合后,办学规模明显扩大,办学实力显著增强,教育资源实现了优化配置。同时,在办学理念、管理制度、价值观念、利益分配、工作态度、管理方式、文化融合等方面的矛盾和冲突也随之产生。其中,文化融合层面的矛盾是以上诸多矛盾中的主要矛盾。文化融合程度是衡量中高职院校整合效果的重要标志。对中高职院校整合后文化融合这一课题进行研究,对于充实相关领域的研究,有效整合中高职教育资源,解决中高职院校整合后出现的各类问题,促进中高职一体化协调发展都具有重要意义。
